Markie Post is a noted American actress who is known for her portrayals of public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from her acting work, she's been part of several games shows. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two of her brothers at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She went to Pomona College for a short duration and graduated from Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been Post's husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a role model for Hollywood for her role as a great actress as well as a wonderful mother and wife.
