Starting her acting career on the Broadway following her graduation, she appeared in films within two years. She also appeared on TV in the year after. Since then, she's appeared in countless films and TV and stage productions. In her long career, she has received many awards, which includes 2 Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as three Academy Award nominations and five Tony Award nominations. Despite her numerous awards, she still loves the theatre, and has appeared on both screen and stage.
