My child played around in a playpen while I was working 12-hour shifts in sanding floors and removing wallpaper. Ha! All was starting to form, but there was still a long way to go. I decided to put off working on my antique furniture for a while and stay home with the kids. It was exactly the thing I needed. However, after just a couple of minutes I began to hear my phone ringing. There were calls from people asking me to assist them in interior decor and home renovations. It was mostly those that came to my residence to buy furniture. While I was working, I added clients one by one. But it wasn't long before I had many clients and operated an extremely successful business of home renovation. It would have probably laughed at me had you told me this would become the basis of the DIY Network tv series. As I reflect at it, it has made me giggle.
