Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her roles as a lead actress in many television series but also her impressive performances in films. The actress is well-known on Canadian and American TV. At the age of Emily was 12 she became fascinated by acting after she visited her elder sister Katie on the set of one of her film. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she took acting classes and attended auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You afraid of the Dark? In the show, she appeared only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. The first time she was seen on screen was at 15 years old when she got a role on the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performances caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then cast her on his television show Everwood. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was recognized by Teen magazine as one of the most talented actresses under the age of 20. She was ranked the 51st on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
